July 10, 2018 – Softvision’s QA team received recognition for their help in Mozilla’s latest Test Pilot Program, Notes by Firefox, an app that allows users to access all of their notes from the Firefox sidebar on their Android device.
The new mobile companion application supports the same encryption features as the WebExtension. Once a user signs into the app, it will sync all existing notes from Firefox desktop, so users can access them on the go. Mozilla has also released a new update to WebExtension version of Notes. Other important fixes include improved line break support, pasted plain text now supports line breaks, better font size display features, and updated toolbar icons.
Softvision’s QA team has worked closely with Mozilla since 2010, and helped them complete this project.
A recent article on Medium.com, “Notes is available on Android,” announces the release. The article also acknowledges Softvision’s part in the Notes app, saying, “Big thanks to CKEditor development team and our SoftVision QA team for making these releases happen!”
Congratulations to Mozilla and our dedicated QA team!
